Nitrogen Inflation for Motorcycles

Nitrogen inflation has long been overlooked for motorcycle shops, primarily because it was not affordable.  That does not mean that it isn't a great fit.  One service manager at a Harley Davidson dealership told me that he believed it was more important on motorcycle tires.  Because there is such a small patch of rubber in contact with the road, riders need to be certain that tire is properly inflated.  Nitrogen filled tires maximize pressure retention, helping to mitigate this issue.  The Parker Nitrogen Wand has become very popular with motorcycle dealers because it allows them to cost effectively offer nitrogen inflation.  Look for it at a motorcycle shop near you.
